GRANT HISTORY
With appreciation for the generosity of Donald and Virginia Sherwood, Sherwood Trust invests over $1 million each year in grants and programs for the Walla Walla Valley. Since our founding, Sherwood Trust has invested over $40 million for proposals ranging from strategic planning, to new staff positions, to improved nonprofit buildings or community facilities.

$64,300 to Common Roots Housing Trust to support its purchase of building lots in Waitsburg.
$20,000 to Hope Heals Walla Walla to support capacity.
$15,000 to Integrity Rebekah Lodge #175 in Milton-Freewater to support capital improvements.
$62,000 to Gesa Power House Theatre to support capacity.

$75,000 to SonBridge Center for Better Living to support Helpline capital improvements.
$75,000 to Sustainable Living Center to support Walla Walla Valley Farm to School capacity.

$135,00 over two years to Communities in Schools of the Blue Mountain Region to support truancy interventions in Walla Walla Public Schools.
$17,000 to Milton-Freewater Neighborhood Senior Center Inc. to support interior painting and maintenance.
$160,000 to STAR Project to support its reentry services for justice-impacted people.
$100,000 to Trilogy Recovery Community to support its peer-to-peer addiction recovery services.
