Sherwood Trust invites you to join us for Rural Matters, a free community-building workshop inspired by the work of Rural Assembly, a program of the Center for Rural Strategies dedicated to celebrating and empowering rural people and places.

Rural Assembly works to reshape perceptions, foster healing, and build unity by amplifying rural voices through advocacy, partnerships, and gatherings. Their work challenges harmful narratives about rural communities and lifts up the untold stories, opportunities, and interconnected futures that bind rural and urban places together.

At this gathering, we’ll make space to name the connections that unite us, celebrate the strengths of rural communities, and explore how we can help shape a future of inclusivity and shared success for all.
